宝屯社区位于广东省东莞市厚街镇中心区，坐落在东江河畔，南面紧邻镇中心，西北隔河与道滘镇相望，全村占地总面积约3.2平方千米。社区原为宝屯村，现设五个居民分社，名称依次为宝塘厦、陈屋、板樟、塘坑、下屯。[2][1]
交通与路网[edit]
社区与S256省道、广深高速公路紧密相接，港口大道穿境而过。社区内主干道以四条为骨架，宽36米以上的沥青路段长约3.3千米，24米以上的路段长约5.2千米。[1]

社区建有文化广场、聚宝园公园等共九个场地，总面积约5.3万平方米。社区综合服务中心依托原有功能室，结合社工力量，面向老人、青少年、妇女、残疾人和新莞人提供个案、小组与社区层面的专业服务。[1]
