河田村位于厚街镇中部，西接镇中心区，中部设有广深高速公路出口，面积9.1平方千米，下辖5个村民小组。[1]

产业[edit]

早年靠农业生活，开放以后借助地理位置发展出口型经济，皮料交易成为主业。村中设有河田与远隆两处皮料市场，另有南峰的皮革鞋材交易中心，业务涉及五金、电子、制衣与鞋业。[1]

近年建设[edit]

村内的河田第二工业区拟对228.4亩旧厂房进行改造，燕仔坑片区另有533亩用地待开发，并规划建设高新技术产业园，是「百千万工程」的一部分。[1]
