寮厦村在镇中心的东北面，紧靠S256省道和厚街大道，全村约2平方千米，设三个村民小组。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村子始建于元代泰定二年（1325年），村名来自祖辈在此种菜、搭茅寮居住的往事。[1][2]
经济[edit]
20世纪80年代起，村里逐步开设杂货店、药店等商铺。进入21世纪，村里转向工业，2007年鸿运鞋材广场成为专业市场的中心，其后鸿运二期、三期相继兴建。[1]
设施[edit]
村内的福神岗公园和文化广场等公共设施，有民办学校与幼儿园。彩云路在2007年投入六百多万元改造，2019年又投资三百万元升级。[1]
