珊美村位于S256省道旁，行政区域面积1.68平方千米，村委驻地在兴隆路。它是广东省东莞市厚街镇下辖的村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村子南宋末年立村，最初因建在珊溪之尾而名「珊尾」。后来当地方言中「尾」与「美」读音相同，遂改名「珊美」。村委会成立于1999年，2005年村改为社区居委会。[1]

经济与设施[edit]

村以商贸服务为主导产业，外资经济与民营经济并存。村内有商业、饮食与娱乐设施，并有厚街中心小学，以及地铁珊美站。[1]
