水朗村在大岭山镇中心区西南，距镇中心约5公里；村子东面接着松山湖科技产业园，西侧临近大岭山森林公园[1]。村域面积约4.8平方千米，下辖6个村民小组，含大围仔、新围仔、荔枝园、里前步四个自然村[1]。
地名与立围[edit]
水朗村于明成化年间（1465年至1487年）立围。村子南面是莲花山，西面与虎门相望，莲花山常有猛虎出没，村民便在村前蓄水成塘，取村名「水浸朗」，后简称「水朗」[1]。
经济与设施[edit]
2024年，村组两级资产合计61435万元，总收入3104万元，股东每人分红14468元[1]。生产经营单位共163家，企业占138家，规模以上企业18家，行业以电子、五金、家具、塑胶为主[1]。
村中设有社区医疗服务站，党群服务中心与休闲广场也在，另有篮球场，并把居住区和工业区分开[1]。
