太公岭村位于大岭山镇西北部，距镇区约3.5公里，辖区总面积2.24平方千米，107国道穿村而过[1]。村辖5个自然村和5个村民小组，户籍人口2128人，共781户[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，1953年太公岭属连平乡，1957年改属大沙乡，1958年划入寮步公社[2]。1961年大岭山公社设立，此地称太公岭生产大队；1969年起，它与梅林等五村一道合并为大地生产大队；1980年大地大队解体，太公岭重新成为生产大队[2]。1984年设乡，1986年为管理区，1999年成立太公岭村民委员会[2]。

红色遗迹与文物[edit]

村内有军械修理厂遗址，另有党员妇女干部培训班的旧址；地下交通站旧址尚存，洪裕邝公祠与太公岭村抗日旧址也列入保护，共五处文物保护点[1]。洪裕邝公祠始建于清光绪二十一年（1895年），是广东人民抗日游击队第三大队的驻地遗址[3]。

经济与荣誉[edit]

2024年1月至11月，村级经济总收入446万元，组级经济总收入2146万元，村组两级合计2592万元，纯收入2192万元[1]。辖区内出租屋有376栋，市场主体约800家，生产企业占其中275家，规模以上企业14家[1]。

村子获得「广东省卫生村」「东莞市卫生村」「东莞市文化建设达标村」「东莞市市容环境优美村」等称号[1]。
