旧飞鹅村在大岭山镇西北部，距镇中心约8公里，与东城街道接壤，地处同沙水库上游，属移民村与老区村[1]。村辖区面积约3.5平方千米，村内户籍600人，201户，常住约1500人[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，旧飞鹅村于清顺治元年（1644年）建村，早年隶属连平乡[2]。1958年同沙水库建设期间，村民迁往农场暂住；1960年水库完工，村民陆续返回原村，仍归连平生产大队管辖[2]。1980年自连平大队分出，另组旧飞鹅大队；1983年设乡，1987年为管理区，1999年改成村民委员会[2]。

经济与设施[edit]

2024年，村子经营总收入为1608万元，总资产则是13137万元，集体经济运转正常[1]。村里有村民活动中心，也设了警务室，人民调解室与劳动服务站都在，老年人之家、文化图书档案室和新时代文明实践站也已建成，并设有微型消防站[1]。

境内山岭包括飞鹅龙山、铜鼓顶、黄婆帐山等，同沙河流经村前[1]。村子获得「广东省宜居示范村庄」「东莞市文明村」「东莞市卫生村」「东莞市市容环境优美村」与「平安社区」等称号[1]。
