马蹄岗村位于大岭山镇东北部，东侧挨着松山湖高新技术产业开发区，南、西、北三面分别与新塘村、鸡翅岭村、大塘朗村毗连[1]。村委会下辖5个村民小组，户籍人口2549人，常住人口约1.2万人[1]。

地名与历史[edit]

据博雅地名网，南宋宁宗年间，一位来自甘肃陇西、名叫李姑姐的人带着失去双亲的侄子迁居此地，原称马头岗，明代之后写作马蹄岗[2]。村子曾以青砖筑起围墙，明代为防外侵而建，墙上设有城堡，可站人放哨[3]。

村由马蹄岗、围仔、饭箩围三个自然村组成。1961年大岭山公社成立后，这里设马蹄岗大队；之后1984年改设乡、1986年改设管理区，直到1999年撤区设村，才组建马蹄岗村民委员会[3]。

经济与环境[edit]

村组两级在2024年的经营收入合计5095万元，支出1259万元；负债达3776万元，资产总额为3.03亿元，两级合计的纯收入约3836万元[1]。村内共有企业165家，规模以上企业21家，主要集中在科技产业、电子与五金[1]。

文体广场、休闲公园与综合文化服务中心都设在村内；曾获「广东省卫生村」「东莞市文明村」「东莞市美丽幸福村居」等称号[1]。2020年至2022年间，村子三次列入淘宝村名单[2]。
