大岭山社区位于东莞市大岭山镇中心区，是全镇政治、经济和文化活动的中心，也是镇内户籍人口最多、增长最快的社区[1]。社区辖区面积3.52平方千米，管辖圩镇中心区、镇区的几个大型楼盘，以及龙江、龙山两个居民小组[1][2]。

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，1976年大岭山公社在农场一带设立农场圩委会，由区公所工交办兼管[2]。博雅地名网的历史沿革列表则把圩委会的成立系于1974年，两处记述不一，本文两存其说[3][2]。

1958年同沙水库动工，原在大沙的圩市受淹，圩市迁往农场一带另建，人称农场圩[3]。1984年撤社建区后，圩委会改设大岭山圩镇，并设乡级管理区；两年后区公所更名为镇，圩镇转为居民管理区[3]。1997年，管理区里分出东区、西区两个居民委员会，另有龙岗、龙山两个村民委员会[2]。2005年的体制改革把它定名为大岭山社区居民委员会[3]。

人口与经济[edit]

截至2024年12月，社区登记在册的户籍人口为36611人，常住人口超过6万，户籍增量居全镇之首[1]。社区党委设7个党支部，党员139人，其中1人为预备党员[1]。

同一时点，集体资产合计6553万元，当期经营总收入为872万元，扣除成本后的经营纯收入为588万元[1]。圩镇中心一带商铺密集，小商铺超过3500家，业态涵盖零售、餐饮与金融；辖区工厂多属中小规模，行业包括家具、印刷与五金制品[1][2]。

文化设施与荣誉[edit]

社区的公共设施包括老人活动中心和大岭山图书馆，此外还有大岭山广场、公园与体育公园，大岭山广场获得「全国特色文化广场」称号[4]。教育资源集中，设有大岭山中学、大岭山中心小学与中心幼儿园等公办学校[1]。

社区曾获「广东省宜居社区」「东莞市文明村（社区）」「东莞市生态村社区」「东莞市市容环境优美村」与「东莞市平安社区」等称号[1]。
