竹尾田村是广东省东莞市凤岗镇下辖的行政村，位于镇域西北面，东深公路自西向东穿村而过，西北与塘厦镇桥陇村接壤。村子辖区面积约1.5平方千米，村中先后有赖、廖、曾、刘、张等姓人家。村里是革命老区，2022年10月入选淘宝村名单。[1][2][3]

村子东面、东北面与竹塘村、浸校塘村相邻，南面与排沙围村相接。村中只有一个自然村，分为老围和新围两部分，背靠青山绿林。[3]

据2007年的统计资料，村中常住户有200户，常住人口711人，此外还有海外华侨及港澳同胞约440人。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

村落的起源可追溯到清代乾隆前期，赖氏先民在老围一带建村，至今已有二百多年。此后廖、曾、刘、张等姓陆续迁入。[3]

行政建制上，村先后隶属塘凤乡（1950年）和凤岗乡（1957年）。建制上，1960年设竹尾田大队，此后的竹尾田乡（1983年）、管理区（1987年）各阶段之后，1999年才设立村委会，沿用至今。[1]

革命史[edit]

在新民主主义革命时期，村民在中国共产党领导下，同日本侵略者和国民党反动派进行斗争，为抗日战争和解放战争的胜利出过力，村子因此被称为革命老区。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，村被列入省级民主法治示范村创建单位的名单（依据2018年度的名单）。2022年10月，村入选淘宝村名单。[1]
