概况[edit]
村地形狭长，属丘陵山地，东邻凤德岭村，南接雁田村，西至五联村，北连黄洞村。村下辖六个村民小组，面积7.6平方千米。[2]
村民多为讲客家话的客家人，姓氏有二十余个，较大的有张、李、黄、何、杨、罗等姓。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村子始立于清代，最初称塘沥。1952年改称塘埔乡，1957年并入凤岗乡，1960年成为塘沥大队，1983年改设塘沥乡，1987年改为管理区，1999年改为村委会，沿用至今。[1]
文化[edit]
村中有国家级象棋大师杨官璘的出生地，村里大力打造象棋文化品牌，每年举办一次中国象棋比赛。村委会还连续多年举办敬老会，至2015年已办到第二十二届。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2022年10月，村上榜淘宝村名单。2024年1月，村被认定为2023年度省级民主法治示范村。[1]
