厦坭村位于清溪镇中部，清塘公路与清凤公路贯通全境，共5个村民小组，分别为江背、花边岭、郑围、旗岭下和磨坭圩。[1][3]
上世纪90年代，村里引进港资企业，形成了塑胶、五金的产业集群；村内的旧厂房改造为新型产业园，是近年的重点项目。[4][1]
历史沿革[edit]
博雅地名网载，1988年，厦坭村引进了第一家港资企业日旷塑胶五金厂，该厂当时只有30多名工人。改革开放初期，周边不少村庄已先行引进港资厂，厦坭村因此把招商引资列为首要工作。[1]
百度百科载，村庄1959年成立生产大队，1999年改设为村委会。[2]维基百科将本村写作「厦泥村」，并称其旧名为磨泥墟，与本条的村名写法略有不同。[3]
经济[edit]
博雅地名网载，2008年，两级集体收入合计2050万元；总资产接近2亿元；农民年人均收入超过两万元。[1]
据该村在东莞市人民政府门户网站发布的工作总结，厦坭经联社的总负债为2313万元，资产负债率一路下降，2025年为47.5%。[4]
该页还称，滨河西路「工改工」单元改造范围约为3.32万平方米，其中集体旧厂房约2.35万平方米，计划分期建成新型产业园。[4]
