九乡村位于清溪镇东部，地处清溪的边缘山区，辖区面积7.6平方千米，下辖7个村民小组，其中有金口、牛湖、婆岭、竹树厦、新屋厦、高田唇、大稔布等。[2]村庄东邻惠阳，南邻深圳宝安，北邻铁场村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

博雅地名网载，九乡村山丘占了近六成，交通不便，改革开放后村民招商引资受到影响。1979年村里引进第一间年华毛织厂，至1987年共引进5间外商厂，但因路况差，多为小厂，1992年全村总收入只有53万元。[1]

2007年，村里将东风路建成通车，全长2273米，路宽16米。博雅地名网载，此后村里又修建大高新公路等主干道，全村道路总里程达到10公里。[1]

博雅地名网载，1930年，华侨及各界人士在牛湖村捐资兴建了村里的第一所学校莞东学校。[1]

博雅地名网载，2004年，村里外资、民营和个体的工厂合计有40多家，两级收入合计为759万元；到2007年，两级收入已超过1600万元，企业增至60多家。[1]

据该村2026年发布的总结，「十四五」期间村里购置了东风路129号、176号两处厂房，直接壮大了集体固定资产规模。[3]
