松木山村处在大朗镇西南，东面连着水平与屏山，南侧是犀牛陂村，西侧通到松山湖高新区，北侧依靠黄草朗村，现有面积2.7平方千米[1][2][3]。美景中路贯穿全村，北达大朗镇中心区[1]。政府网概况所载，截至2025年12月，全村人口合计约35143人。户籍部分为3245人、1336户；外来暂住者为31898人[1]。
建村与姓氏[edit]
政府网概况称，村子始建于元代初期，原名“陈前围”，因陈氏祖公葬于松木山丘，改称松木山。南宋时黄氏家族迁入，繁衍至今，现有八成以上户籍人口姓黄[1]。
村域以汉族为主，广府民系占比超过九成，通用粤方言大朗话[1]。
革命历史[edit]
东江纵队曾在松木山一带活动，村内立有革命烈士纪念碑，里面安葬着五名牺牲的游击队员，这里也是大朗镇的爱国主义教育基地[1]。
