圩镇社区与樟罗、百果洞、樟洋社区相邻，地理位置优越，工业、商业和文化氛围较浓。辖区下辖6个居民小组，其中5个为自然村小组，分别是樟木头围、新村坑、圩一村、圩二村和九明村，另有1个居民小组。[1]

政府网站2025年1月的页面记载，社区现有户籍总人口7458人，其中原村民2055人，居民5403人。[1]

社区产业以塑胶、电子、机械和五金为主，有工业企业100多家，其中规模以上企业5家。樟木头火车站设在社区范围内；东深公路穿过辖区，常虎与龙林两条高速就在附近，出行方便。[1]
