霞边村是广东省东莞市寮步镇下辖的行政村，位于寮步镇西北部，离莞樟公路约0.8千米。[1]
村辖面积约1.28平方千米，户籍人口1084人，常住人口据称约11000人。村内设双委干部6人，党员51人。[1] 近年来，村里以「百千万工程」为契机，投入约1100万元推进和美乡村、市场升级、雨污分流、文化广场舞台修缮等项目。[1]

村中的公共场所包括两座公园（霞边公园与盘石围公园）、一个文化广场、一处市场，以及综合服务中心和村委会办公楼。[1]
文化活动[edit]
村委会鼓励群众文化，目前有篮球队、舞蹈队和曲艺社，每年都参加各类活动。[1]

在「百千万工程」的框架下，村里坚持生态优先、绿色发展，已办的项目有「和美乡村」建设、市场改造、排污分流、舞蹈室与退伍军人室的装修、小区微庭院、消防隐患整治、儿童乐园升级和盘石围菜园建设等。[1]
