富竹山村是广东省东莞市寮步镇下辖的行政村，位于寮步镇新城的中心地带，香市路、蟠龙路等道路在村旁通过，交通便利。[1]
村子据称已有近八百年历史。全村面积约3.5平方千米，辖东门、南北门和蟠龙岗三个村民小组，2024年12月底户籍2501人，外来人口约两万人。[1] 村里曾被评为广东省卫生村、东莞市文明标兵村，并获「广东省健康促进示范村」称号。[1]
地理与人口[edit]
村子紧邻镇中心区，东面是蟠龙路，南面是香市路，西面通金富路，北面靠松柏路，省道莞樟路也穿村而过，区位较好，周边房地产开发较多。[1]
截至2024年12月底，全村户籍人口2501人，分属三个村民小组；另有外来人口约两万人。村党委下辖5个党支部，有党员112名，村两委成员7人，实行书记与主任一人兼任，其他班子成员实现交叉任职。[1]
环境整治与公共服务[edit]
村里依托「善美富足·和美福山」的特色精品村建设，分三期投入2500万元做环境整治。第一期升级了三个小组的六段村道，改造了一座小公园、一条排水渠和两座公厕；第二期升级村委会的文化体育广场，并在东门增设停车场公园；第三期升级了辖区内十条巷道，并新建公园和停车场。[1]
村里还投入约65万元建富竹山舞台，投入约150万元建社区综合服务中心，建筑面积706平方米；每年出资55万元聘请4名专业社工，每年开展公益活动约130场次。[1]
文化与教育[edit]
村史馆经过修缮，展示村子的发展历程、红色资源、农耕文化和民俗，村中还设有老兵书屋、电子阅览室、青少年活动中心和各小组的老人活动室。[1]
村里对大中小学生设立奖学金已超过二十年，发放金额超过200万元。据村里介绍，当时有2名在读全日制博士研究生和6名硕士研究生。[1]
