缪边社区属于广东省东莞市寮步镇，地处松山湖高新区和寮步镇中心之间，在香市科技产业园以北。[1]
社区占地约1.5平方千米，辖区内有三个自然村。常住居民估计一万一千余人，其中本地户籍为551户、1531人。[1] 村方自我定位为以篮球见长、产城相融且宜居的典型村落。[1]
位置与交通[edit]
社区东侧挨着石大路，南侧靠近松山湖大道，区内由龙胜路、金松路和西南路贯通，离莞深高速的出入口约两千米。[1]
篮球文化[edit]
社区以「筑梦篮图 智美缪边」为主题，以篮球为建设核心，开辟了约1.2千米长的篮球主题文旅参观线。另有标识与吉祥物、文创产品和社区之歌，并举办过篮球生活节、名宿见面会，开展了公益篮球培训。[1]
目标是把社区打造成东莞首个以篮球为特色的精品示范村。[1]
乡村振兴[edit]
缪边社区是广东省「百千万工程」第二批典型村的培育对象。社区依据市、镇的工作体系，提出了一个篮球特色经济带、三个特色片区、两个重点工程和六个行动抓手的思路，着力打造产城融合样板。[1]
荣誉[edit]
社区拿到的省级称号有乡村治理示范村与「六好」平安和谐社区；市级称号则有文明标兵社区、绿色社区、特色精品示范村和「美丽庭院」示范村。[1]
