牛杨社区是广东省东莞市寮步镇下辖的社区，在寮步镇的南部尽头，与松山湖科技产业园区挨着，南面连着大岭山镇。[1]
社区面积约1平方千米，管辖的自然村有牛眠石与杨梅树两处。登记户籍1947人，分居748户，另有外来人口一万五千左右。[1] 社区内有规模较大的企业近20家，涉及电子、印刷、吸塑和商务等行业。[1]
交通与自然村[edit]
莞深高速的石大路出入口就在社区旁边，松山湖大道与松山湖工业西路环绕社区。牛眠石村以祁姓为主，杨梅树村以韩姓为主。[1]
乡村建设[edit]
社区推进「美丽乡村」景观提升，投入约2300万元，其中约500万元用于升级社区四个主入口与松山湖相接的路口。另投入五百多万元整治道路、景观和巷道，并在围面前一带进行厕所改造，建成东莞市示范圩镇。[1]
牛眠石公园经过整体改造，投入近1300万元，设计面积约35.3亩，分为安静休闲、亲子游乐和生态停车三个功能区。[1]

社区先后获得「广东省宜居社区」、广东省卫生村、「东莞市文明社区」、「东莞市绿色社区」和「东莞市文明标兵单位」等称号。[1]
