寮步社区是广东省东莞市寮步镇下辖的社区，位于寮步镇中心，莞樟路、石大路、香市路、蟠龙路等主干道在此纵横交汇，公交线路较多，交通便利。[1]
社区总面积约0.997平方千米，2025年户籍人口7060人，另有流动人口近三万人。[1] 辖区里有四处综合性的购物商圈，两处大型广场，两座农贸市场，以及一所医院、一所敬老院、三所幼儿园和三所中小学。[1] 集体经济的主要收入来源是物业出租。[1]

社区位于寮步镇「莞香雅市环」上，保有「香市古镇」「牙香街」等历史人文资源，香市文化的底蕴较深。[1]
社区建设[edit]
社区先后建起三座楼：综合楼位于镇文化广场一侧，是社区的办公场所，内设党群服务中心、党代表工作室和人大代表联络站；服务楼靠近香江公园，楼里有文明实践站、长者活动室、残联的康复站点和社工中心；第三座香居楼则免费供居民办喜宴。[1]
据社区介绍，它正以文旅融合为下一阶段发展的重点，并已拟定「百千万工程」建设提升规划的初步方案，内容包括绿化美化、人居环境和基层治理等方面。[1]
