横江厦村位于常平东北部，是李任之的故乡，村内有东莞市文物保护单位李任之故居。[1][2]

人物[edit]

李任之（1919年至1983年）出生于横江厦村，曾任中共安徽省委书记与湖北省委书记，1973年与1977年两次当选中央委员。[3][4]

李恩（1904年至1949年）也是横江厦村人，早年在常平以包糖酒税、开镖行、办牛栏为生，后走上革命道路。[5]

文物与纪念地[edit]

李任之故居为清代建筑，以青砖石脚为特点，2004年被公布为东莞市文物保护单位。[2]

村内的李恩烈士墓位于长埔山头。[2]

丽城隐贤山庄是村内的市级旅游点，辖区另有7个花园式住宅小区。[1]
