谢岗村是广东省东莞市谢岗镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的北部，北面与惠州市沥林镇毗邻。村子最早由谢氏开基，村落的布局在民间又被称为「八卦村」，村内有谢氏大宗祠和明末古民居群。据镇政府网站，谢岗村约建于南宋咸淳六年（1270年），是镇内最早立村的古村落。[1][4][5]

谢岗村东面与谢山村交界，西面连着赵林村，南面和东南面接樟木头镇与泰园社区，北面与惠州市沥林镇毗邻。镇政府网站记其东西宽约3.2公里，南北长约5.7公里，总面积10.4平方千米，约占谢岗镇总面积的10.1%。博雅地名网则记作6.8平方千米，两者不同，此处以镇政府网站为准。[1][2]
历史沿革[edit]
据镇政府网站，谢岗村建村于南宋咸淳六年，由谢氏先祖谢豫堂从南雄珠玑巷迁来。百度百科则记该村别名谢岗围、蔗岗、枫溪等，始建年份同样写作1270年。镇政府的历史文化发掘另据《谢氏族谱》推算，认为村子在十二世纪三四十年代已有人居住，与1270年的说法相差一百多年，此处只以镇政府网站所据的建村年份为准。[1][4][5]
民国时期村子属东莞县第三区大同乡。1958年设立生产大队，归樟木头人民公社管辖，1960年分出，成为谢岗公社的谢岗大队。1983年撤销生产大队、改设为乡，1987年撤乡后设为管理区，1999年成为谢岗村委会。[2][1]
人口与姓氏[edit]
迁入谢岗村最早的是谢氏，之后林、郭、罗、黄、张、赵等姓相继迁入。2015年村内户籍人口3667人，约1082户。2021年12月，外来暂住人口约2万人。[1]
经济[edit]
1980年村里引进第一家「三来一补」企业，此后陆续办起多个工业区，其中金川工业区一期占地48万平方米，已完成招商。博雅地名网记村内有工厂企业60家，另有个体工商户约三百家。[1][2]
截至2011年底，村组两级总资产约为1.39亿元。[3] 2010年村组两级集体收入1321.6万元，村民人均年收入11911元。2014年底，村组两级集体总资产约2.46亿元。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
村内的谢氏大宗祠、瓶轩祖大赢房、简生公祠与大庙（即关帝庙）等古建筑，都在村境之内。明末建成的古民居群分布在宗智公祠的左、右、后方，墙基用红砂石，外墙为水磨青砖，巷道用花岗岩条石铺砌。民居分为「尚德坊」「崇文里」「兴隆里」三条小巷，组成一个建筑群。[1]
百度百科称，村落的建设依八卦学说而定，形成灵龟北饮潼湖、三山陪护的格局。如今古村落已无人居住。[4][1]
教育与荣誉[edit]
1925年，谢超万曾在谢岗大宗祠内办起一所义务国民小学，后停办。1947年谢鹤亭在大宗祠再办小学，1952年改名谢岗小学，1961年改为谢岗中心小学。[1]
