谢山村是广东省东莞市谢岗镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的中心区东侧，圩镇在它的西面，北面则与惠州市沥林镇相邻。莞惠公路与两条铁路穿过村境，城际轨道的谢岗站也设在村中。村子以谢姓为主，村内有清代建成的炮楼仔等古建筑。[1][2]
地理环境[edit]
谢山村东面与惠州市沥林镇毗邻，西面与谢岗村相接，南面与樟木头镇接壤。镇政府网站记其东起谢岗金满湖度假村，西至谢山桥，南北长约2.5公里，总面积3.9平方千米；博雅地名网则记作3.2平方千米，两者不同，此处以镇政府网站为准。[1][2]
村子南面是林区，北面则是千亩湿地和鱼塘。[2] 莞惠公路由村的北部横穿，广梅汕铁路与莞惠轨道交通平行穿过村境。[1][3]
历史沿革[edit]
清乾隆九年（1743年）这里出现了谢山村。谢氏宗谱记载，一位名叫赤石的谢氏先人为寻找适宜居住的地方，带着六个儿子迁到此处，形成村落。博雅地名网则记该村1272年自南雄珠玑巷迁入谢岗，两说的时间不同。[1][2]
行政归属方面，1949年时此地属大同乡，1952年改属谢岗乡，1956年归入大厚乡；1958年成为谢岗大队，1961年另设谢山大队。之后1983年改称乡，1987年变为管理区，1999年设为村委会。[2]
人口与姓氏[edit]
谢山村最早由谢姓开基。20世纪90年代以后，部分出嫁女的户籍未迁出，其他姓氏随之增多。到2015年，村内户籍人口的姓氏共54个，谢姓448人，罗姓次之。博雅地名网记户籍人口560人，外来人员则有6000多人，由3个村民小组组成。[1][2]
经济[edit]
1989年村里引进第一家「三来一补」企业，90年代中期陆续建成两个工业区。村内自建厂房约3.3万平方米，鱼塘800多亩，全年集体总收入约700万元。[1][2]
博雅地名网记村内的规划用地中，可用于发展工业的约有1000多亩，可用于商住的约有800多亩。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
明末清初，村内有60多座古民居，保存完好。其中的炮楼仔（小炮楼）建于清咸丰元年（1850年），楼高16米，砖木结构，分为中厅、侧厅和内房三部分。新中国成立前，村民把祖先遗像放在炮楼内拜祭。1952年后这里作为村公所办公，1959年改作村小学教室。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2010年谢山村被评为东莞市市容环境优美村，同年获得东莞市「平安社区」称号，2013年获东莞市生态村。2019年9月，村子入选2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1][2]
