山厦村位于横沥镇西北部，毗邻松山湖生态园，广深铁路线穿村而过，可直上东部快线。全村面积2.67平方千米。[1]
村内有3个工业区，工业企业80多家，涵盖模具、五金、电子、塑胶等产业。常住人口约1.5万人，户籍1271人。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，明代中期，张九龄第十八世孙由曲江分支到宝安的湴田头梅塘，其后裔张寿海迁居此地，称山厦村。[2]
1953年与月塘、新四合组月山乡，1958年成为山厦生产大队，1983年设山厦乡，1987年改设管理区，1999年才改为村委会。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
村里将山厦公园建成集休闲、生态与旅游于一体的景点，并借张九龄的精神内涵加以打造。[1]
荣誉[edit]
村先后获评「东莞市特色精品示范村」「广东省卫生村」「东莞市文明标兵村」等荣誉称号。[1]
