新四村位于横沥镇东北面，村域内包括小田头、小坑尾、油榨、黄塘四个自然村，占地约3.8平方千米。[1]

村内户籍人口2493人，849户，外来人口约4.1万人。工厂企业536家（含小作坊）中，76家为规模以上企业，产业以电子、五金为主。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

新四一带在1953年时归月山乡，1958年人民公社化后并入山厦生产大队。1962年，四个自然村合组新四生产大队，管理机构设在油榨村。[2]

1983年设新四乡，1987年改设新四管理区。[2]

经济[edit]

2025年，村组两级总收入约8061万元，经营收益约5923万元，年底集体资产总额约42279万元。[1]

文化[edit]

村里创建了「678艺时代」文创项目，保留了村落的旧貌，并融合现代艺术与创意业态，活化了旧村。[1]

荣誉[edit]

村先后获评「横沥镇先进基层党组织」「东莞市村民自治先进村」「东莞市文明村」。[1]
