田饶步村位于横沥镇东部，离镇中心约7公里。村子的东、南、西、北面分别接六甲村、村头村、长巷村和企石镇。全村总面积2.44平方千米。[1]

村内户籍2085人，716户，常住人口约1万人。村中工贸企业共260家，规模以上的有21家。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1953年，田饶步与村头、长巷、六甲、常平百花沥一并组成村沥乡。1958年称田饶埔大队，1983年设田饶埔乡，1987年改设田饶步的管理区，1999年才成为村委会。[2]

文化[edit]

拥有300余年历史的田饶步草龙舞已列为市级非物质文化遗产，村里以「舞草龙」活动和「田小饶」文创形象推动文化与节庆经济。[1][3]

名胜古迹[edit]

田饶步革命烈士纪念碑位于村里。东江纵队铁东大队在抗日时期于此地活动过，镇政府以纪念碑为核心，打造了横沥镇的红色教育基地。[1][2]

荣誉[edit]

村先后获评「广东省卫生村」「东莞市文明村」「市级爱国主义教育基地」等称号。[1]
