历史沿革[edit]
长巷村的先祖与村头同出查黔辖一脉，村子原称五甲，后改称长巷。[2]
1953年，长巷与村头、田饶步、六甲、常平白花沥一并组成村沥乡。其后1958年成为长巷大队，1983年设为长巷乡，1987年改设管理区，1999年才成为村委会。[2]
经济[edit]
长巷股份经济联合社2025年的总收入为767万元，年末总资产1.156亿元。辖区内有企业72家，其中9家为规模以上企业。[1]
文化[edit]
村中有两座公园，一座是长巷农耕文化公园，另一座是香氏文化主题公园，两者都带有农耕与香氏文化的意味。[1]
村里的荔枝是特色产业，获评「广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村（荔枝）」。[1]
