隔坑村位于横沥镇中心西部，总面积约1.83平方千米。村委会由隔坑、上车岗、下车岗三个自然村组成，全村常住人口约1.9万人。[1]

历史沿革[edit]
清初，村民从东坑角社村迁来定居，村子因此得名隔坑村。[2]
1953年隔坑与石涌、张坑合设石坑乡，之后的1958年改作隔坑生产大队。1968年曾称隔坑大队革命委员会，1980年又恢复为隔坑大队，1983年设为隔坑乡，1987年改设管理区，1999年才成为村委会。[2]
人物[edit]
民国时期任南京特别市首任市长的刘纪文（1890年至1957年）出生于下车岗村。据百度百科与维基百科，下车岗即今隔坑村的一部分。[1][3][4]
经济[edit]
2025年村集体总资产达3.87亿元。村里围绕制造业推进实体经济，并把闲置的旧大队部改建为村史馆。[1]
荣誉[edit]
隔坑村先后获评「全国文明村」「广东省卫生村」「东莞市特色精品村」，并入选省首批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
