霞朗村地处企石镇中部，面积0.96平方千米左右。本村人口820余，外来人口则过八千。村庄立于1500年。[1]

村党支部历年得到多项表彰：1995年获「东莞市模范村民委员会」称号，1996年列为第一批「文明村」，2002年被评为「村民自治示范村」，2003年7月获「交通安全村」称号。2022年10月，霞朗村入选淘宝村名单。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1500年立村；1951年设民主乡；1953年，部分地域改划为胜利乡。1958年组成人民公社，归福隆管辖。1961至1976年间隶属新南大队；1976年10月自新南分出，另设霞朗大队；1985年设霞朗乡人民政府。[1]
