蒲溪村属广东省东莞市石龙镇，处在镇的西北角，东莞、增城、博罗三地在此相接。东江北干流穿村而过，把村子分为南北两岸，南岸紧靠石龙旧城区。[1][2]
村子原名“莆溪”，明末清初由福建莆田陈姓族人迁居形成，1999年正式成立村委会。[1]

据百度百科，蒲溪村由明末清初迁来的福建莆田陈姓族人建立，原名“莆溪”，清代这里曾设水师营地与炮台。[1] 20世纪70年代，村子为忠维大队下属的蒲溪生产队，1999年正式成立村委会。[1]
经济与基础设施[edit]
镇政府网站称，村里配合寰科国内总部及旗舰产业化基地项目做土地整备和利益统筹，并推进红海加油站建设和新春农贸市场改造。[2]
百度百科载，村中新增了230个停车泊位，并开展了垃圾分类、河长制等环境治理。[1] 村综合公共服务中心整合了安全办、警务室、居家养老室和退伍军人服务站等职能部门。[2]
文化遗存[edit]
村内保留陈氏宗祠、三眼井和百年榕树群等历史遗存，并有龙舟文化传统。[1][2] 百度百科称，蒲溪渡口至今延续免费摆渡的传统。[1] 镇政府网站称，村中的主要街道墙面与沿江道路已做了浮雕彩绘，并以龙舟文化为主题。[2]
