村子清代中期立村，经济上以商贸和工业园为支柱，2024年村集体收入约3824万元。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据百度百科，新维村始建于清朝中期，清咸丰年间立村。[1] 村中的叶氏宗祠建于约一百年前，博雅地名网称它是“立维”标志，2001年按原样修复。[2]

经济[edit]

百度百科称，2024年村集体收入约3824万元，每股分红2万元，厂房出租率89.34%。[1] 村集体收入主要来自厂房与商铺出租，村里有新维商贸大厦、名典商贸大厦和新维工业园等物业。[2]

沙头角商品综合市场是村里的商业特色，博雅地名网所载其总面积近2万平方米，档位两千多个，以服装、鞋类和日用品为主。[2]

民生与治理[edit]

镇政府网站所载的村务内容包括牌坊亮化与道路升级，建设三个停车场地和立体车库，并改造党群服务中心、祠堂广场与篮球场等设施。[3]

村里增设了一名处理信访的法律专员，据村务简介，全年接到各类投诉57宗；村中还设置了电动自行车临时停放点和智能充电桩。[3]
