忠维村是广东省东莞市石龙镇下辖的行政村，位于镇旧城区中部，沿东江南支流北岸，西至广深铁路，北与石龙圩为邻，东与兴龙社区接壤。[1][2]

村名来自叶姓大族中一位叫“忠维”的乡绅，村子旧时称中围。[1][2] 村民以叶姓为主，户籍人口1063人，另有大量外来流动人口。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

据镇政府网站，村子建于南宋末年，以叶姓为主，刘、苏、邓、高、陈等姓族人也迁入定居。[2] 明清时期因水运便利，石龙早期的杉木行业多设在此地，之后荔枝箱业也集中于此，直到20世纪30年代。[2][3]

百度百科记载，1986年曾称忠维管理区，1999年才设立村委会。[1] 村子经历的变革依次是土地改革、组建农业合作社、人民公社，再到改革开放。[2]

经济[edit]

集体收入主要来自出租物业，其中包括中兴广场、昌兴市场、兴龙路沿线的商铺以及忠维服装批发街上的店面。[1][2] 中兴广场内设有娱乐、餐饮、酒店与健身等业态，村内还有大型服装批发商场。[3]

乡村建设[edit]

村里成立了人居环境工作领导小组，组织开展“三清理”“三拆除”“三整治”，并落实「洁净城市活动日」和「河湖保洁日」的巡查制度。[2] 忠维停车楼项目位于忠维路42号，2024年8月动工，总建筑面积8549平方米，计划提供公共停车位约132个，据镇政府网站所载仍在建设中。[2]

文化设施[edit]

博雅地名网称，村里的文化阵地有图书室、青少年活动室、老人活动中心和展览室，共约2300平方米；市图书馆在村内设有联网服务点，藏书7300多册。[2][3] 村中另有村史室、电子阅览室和健身室，附近学校有石龙镇第三中学、镇中心小学的二分校，还有嘉培与三海两所幼儿园。[3]
