横滘村是广东省东莞市石碣镇西部的行政村，位于石碣镇西部中心，南临东江，西靠北潢路，北连崇焕西路，距镇政府所在地约4公里。全村辖6个自然村，户籍人口2381人。[1]

博雅地名网记载，早年村庄位于一条东西向横流的河涌旁，因地处横向分支河道的弯岸而得名。[2]

村内现有工厂企业200多家，以电子、五金和塑胶为主，形成了工业经济体系。[1]
