小享社区在东莞市万江街道东北部，离市中心城区约6千米，东江的支流在它的边缘流过。社区由唐厦、梁厦、林厦三个自然村合成，名字源于明初的军屯。[1]
地名与历史[edit]
博雅地名网称，小享早先叫镜溪。明洪武元年（1368年），明朝军队南下平定广东，三支部队驻扎在这里，各以首领的姓氏命名为林下屯、梁下屯和唐下屯。这三处屯驻地后来各自发展为林、梁、唐三坊，形成聚居的格局，村名则缩写成小享。[1]
洪武九年（1376年）立村，清雍正八年（1730年）此地曾编为十二都，民国初年属番禺县第四区，1950年改归东莞县。1959年划归万江区，称小享大队；1987年改设小享管理区，1999年改为村委会，2005年定名小享社区居委会。[1]
