历史沿革[edit]

杨西乡是西平的前身，1952年冬从中析出西平乡；1958年10月并入附城人民公社，编为榕龙营下的西平连；1961年6月随附城公社析分，改称篁村人民公社下的西平生产大队。1983年10月改设西平乡人民政府，1987年10月撤乡设西平管理区，1999年8月改制为西平村委会。[1]
