三元里社区是南城街道下辖的社区，毗邻城市中心区，辖区面积约0.16平方公里，未设居民小组。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
三元里始建于明代崇祯年间，以张野乐后裔为主体，并有民国时期迁入的佃农与长工，1958年因同沙水库移民迁入的居民，以及邻村麻地岭的村民，逐步聚居成村。村场最初位于三个园之间，取名「三园里」，别名「赤瓦屋」，后改称「三元里」。[1]
此后这里经历了乡、管理区、村等建制变化，2003年6月起改为社区居委会，归南城街道管理。[1]
人口与组织[edit]
户籍居民1275人，另有约2301名外来暂住人口。社区“两委”成员7人，实行交叉任职。[1]
