胜和社区是南城街道下辖的社区，位于街道北端，东莞市行政办事中心与街道办事处均在辖区内，辖区面积4.37平方公里。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1951年2月，篁村乡析出多个自然村，设立胜和乡。1962年，蚝岗划归胜和生产大队。1999年8月，原先的16个生产队换称为村民小组；2003年4月，原胜和村的村委会改组为胜和社区居民委员会；2006年9月增设红山居民小组，全社区共17个居民小组。[1]
社区境内蚝岗村有苏氏宗祠，是省级文物保护单位，参见南城街道条目。[2]
