柏洲边社区位于东城街道北部，北临运河与东江，南接莞龙公路和莞深高速，总面积约0.9平方千米。登记户籍为289户、共1126人，另有新莞人约4000。[1][2]

社区的古迹有战国时期的古村落遗址、明清古建筑钟氏宗祠，以及明正德皇帝所赐的石麒麟浮雕。[2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，南宋已有人建村。1950年称柏洲边农会，属石龙区峡口小乡。1955年改为高级社，1958年成为连队，隶属附城人民公社。1977年成立大队，1983年称乡，1987年为管理区，1999年为村委会，2005年村改居，成立社区居委会。[1]

博雅地名网的社区概况则说，该地始建于长满柏树的河洲旁，地名由此而来。[2]

文化遗产与荣誉[edit]

社区有明朝正德年间赏赐的石麒麟浮雕一只、正德奉天勅命石碑一对，并有百年以上古树3棵。[2]

社区曾获省级宜居示范社区、六好平安和谐社区、卫生村等荣誉，在2026年初被评为广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村之一。[1][2]
