东泰社区是东城街道南部的商住型社区，靠近东莞大道，1992年开始兴建，由十多个住宅小区和数栋写字楼组成。社区面积3.8平方千米，1999年成立时称东泰花园居委会，2005年改为现名。[1][3]
社区常住人口约7.8万，户籍约1.8万人。[1]

社区1999年成立，最初叫东泰花园居委会，2005年改名为东泰社区居委会。[1]
社区概况[edit]
社区内有商铺1357间，商业场所包括嘉荣购物广场，另有友谊综合市场与功夫龙亲子城，写字楼及入驻公司约1200家。社区建有大型会所、健身房、球场和游泳池，文体设施建筑面积约8万平方米。[1][2]
荣誉[edit]
社区在2018年7月获司法部与民政部评为全国民主法治示范村（社区）之一；2025年5月，社区进入全国示范性老年友好型社区的创建名录；2025年12月，社区获评第十二批全国民族团结进步示范区的称号。[1]
