新九村是广东省清远市连州市瑶安瑶族乡下辖的行政村，位于乡境北部，距乡政府约15公里，是以林业为主的山区村。[1]
村名沿革：据博雅地名网，此地原属新八一带，人民公社时期，大定坑、豺狗坑、黄泥坳、九曲岭等村自新八分出，与盘石里、长河等村合称新九堡，归瑶安管辖，后改称新九村委会。[1]
人口与产业[edit]
全村有208户，人口837人，村委会驻上九曲岭村。全村山多田少，水源充足，产出以林木和毛竹为主，并大量种植生姜。[1]
全村辖6个自然村，分别是反背冲、大定坑、豺狗坑、黄泥坳、长河与盘石里。[1]
文化[edit]
盘石里村推进了民族特色外墙改造与高台小长鼓舞传承项目，借助广清对口帮扶资金235万元改造民房外立面，村里另建有微型博物馆、过山瑶牌坊和一座瑶族高台小长鼓舞舞台。[2]
新九村的民俗活动有「神老节」，在六月初六。[2]
党组织[edit]
新九村党总支将原有6个党支部调整为2个，并把党组织建设下移到党群服务中心和党群活动中心。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2019年12月，新九村入选国家林业和草原局公布的第二批国家森林乡村名单；2021年12月，获「2021年广东省卫生村」荣誉称号；2024年3月，被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1]
