村委会设在宝山村与珠玉塘村的辖区之内，村名由此而来。[1]

村里以种植反季节蔬菜为主，萝卜和节瓜是主导产品。[1]

村民常态化清理乱堆乱放，疏通沟渠，利用零散闲置地块建口袋公园和小型景观节点；村道硬化、路灯亮化、管网升级等工程也在推进。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，宝珠村上榜「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。2024年3月，宝珠村被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1]
