九陂镇在清远市连州市的南部，是该市的一个乡镇级单位。东南一侧与阳山县的黎埠镇相连，西南一侧与连南的三排镇为邻，北边挨着连州镇，辖区内设有13个行政村。[1][3]
地名来历与境内的水利设施有关：鱼梁陂、龙头陂、石陂等九处天然的陂，共同造就了今日的名称。镇政府驻地在新墟村，农业以种植为主。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
解放前这里分属小水乡与上水乡，解放后划为第四区，其间有过维新乡和爱民乡两个建制。[1] 博雅地名网的记载稍有不同：先是1954年的乡级建制，次年改作区，1956年又变为乡，1958年组成人民公社；此后1984年恢复为区，1986年区撤乡建，1993年乡改为镇。[2] 两家在1950年代的说法有出入，这里保留博雅地名网的年份。

据维基百科与百度百科，辖区内的13个行政村包括：高相村、联一村、四联村、白石村、新墟村；南部、东部有龙潭村、深冲村、爱民村、南石塘村、新民村、龙岗村，以及岩头村与双塘村。[1][3]
地理环境[edit]
百度百科称全镇面积162.67平方千米，博雅地名网则写作约112平方公里，两者相差较大，这里并列两个数字。[1][2] 岩头村与新民村所在的南部山区属石灰岩地区，岩头村缺水，以单造田为主，新民村则旱地多、水田少。[6][7]

百度百科记2019年末户籍人口32830人。[1] 博雅地名网引第七次全国人口普查结果，称2021年全镇人口约1.76万人，在连州市各乡镇中排第8位。[2] 两组数字口径不同，本文分别标注。
经济[edit]
2017年，全镇农业产值约三亿三千万元，较上年增长5.6%；工业产值约一亿五千万元，增幅达17.4%，规模以上工业的增加值为3434.5万元，增长12.7%。同年固定资产投入接近1.9亿元，镇级税收不足100万元。[1]
镇内的工业门类包括煤炭开采、建材、食品加工与发电，农业则以种植业为主，笋竹、蔬菜、水果都已形成规模化的商品产区。[2] 各村的主要产业见各村条目。

2024年3月，全镇被命名为「2023年广东省卫生乡镇」。[2]
2026年8月，连州市第八届广场舞大赛的九陂专场在镇中心学校开赛，十六个队伍、一百五十多人登台，由镇文化站牵头，镇人大予以支持。[4]
名胜古迹[edit]
湟川三峡一段江流穿行峡谷，绵延二十余公里，可分为仙女、楞伽、羊跳三段，岸边树木葱茏，瀑布接连不断。百度百科将其所在地记作九陂镇龙潭村；这条河源自星子的红岩山，流至连江口并注入北江。[5]
