2020年8月，大富头村以柑橘产业入选「首批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」。[1]

2022年8月，大富头村被确定为「2022年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位。2023年4月，该村又出现在「2022年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位名单中。[1]

2026年1月，大富头村获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」。[1]
