据博雅地名网的西岸镇条目，石兰村东荣岭曾为南宋「岳家军」的故垒。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2017年10月，石兰村获「第一批广东省卫生村」称号。2024年3月，该村被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。2021年9月，石兰村入选第二批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单，产品为连州菜心。[1]

水利与产业[edit]

2023年，镇里启动了石兰鹅江河堤和黄竹源修复工程。[2] 西岸镇政府的报告还提到，镇里引导石兰、河田等辐射村发展相应产业。[2]
