2022年1月，村被列为「2021年广东省乡村治理示范村」的创建单位，由广东省乡村振兴局确定。[1]

2024年3月，村被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1]

乡村建设[edit]

2021年4月13日，连州市第一间乡村振兴馆在村内的水白塘村开馆，馆舍占地约100平方米，展示以耕、植、成、景为序，介绍村的发展历程。[2]

2026年1月，青石村获评「广东省第二批百千万工程典型村」。[1]
