汛塘村位于广东省清远市连州市大路边镇北面，距镇政府约14公里。百度百科载截至2021年5月村中人口1772人，耕地1039亩。[1][2]

2016年，当地政府将红薯种植作为扶贫项目的重点，借助科学种植与合作社带动村民增收。[2]

2024年，连州市荔心连粮油有限公司与该村签订订单式种植合作协议，带动脱贫户种植优质水稻和花生。[2]

2024年3月，该村被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1]
