龙咀村是连州镇下辖的行政村，村名与一段地名传说有关。2005年起坭潭并入，两村合为一个村委会。[1]
村名的来历[edit]
据博雅地名网，明代有一道人沿龙脉寻至三合圹，见此地形如龙头之咀，便在这里建了一座寺观，即今学校所在。村委会设于此地，遂称龙咀。[1]
沿革[edit]
1999年，龙咀村改称龙咀村村民委员会。2005年起，坭潭并入龙咀，两村合为一个村委会，沿用至今。[1]
林分优化[edit]
2025年，连州镇完成龙咀村林分优化面积2000亩，这是镇里森林质量提升工作的一部分。[2]
