该村的沿革与城西村相近，先后经过互助组、初级社、高级社、大队、乡、村委会和管理区，1999年以来称三古滩村村民委员会。[1]

农房与招商[edit]

连州镇对包括G537线三古滩段在内的多条路段的274栋农房进行了外立面提升，这些路段的农房风貌因此改善。[2]

2026年的招商引资工作中，列有三古滩新屋村民宿项目。[2]
