岩背村是黄花镇下辖的行政村，位于镇域西北部，由原岩背、民主、洛家塘三村合并而成[1]。村子曾是原岩背镇的经济、文化中心，2020年被列为首批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村（茶叶）[1]。

地名由来[edit]

驻地位于五点梅花（石山）的西侧，俗称「背面」，故称岩背[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1976年自明迳公社分出。1983年先设岩背乡政府，1986年改为村委会，1990年为管理区，1998年10月复为村委会，延续至今。2004年12月，民主、洛家塘两村委会并入[1]。

自然环境与产业[edit]

岩背片区地理环境较差，土地贫瘠[2]。2023年，岩背、平星两村的一村一品项目建设了高山茶种植示范基地，已通过县级验收[2]。

荣誉与发展[edit]

2019年9月，岩背村的名字出现在广东省2018年「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单中[1]。2024年，村内引入中高端民宿「岩背村丰韵民宿」[3]。
