地名由来[edit]
村子建在小溪旁，故名溪村；村委会以村名命名[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
1976年，溪村大队从江塝、赤石两个大队中分出，归明迳公社。1986年起为溪村村委会，属明迳乡；1998年10月改称溪村村委会，延续至今。2004年12月，江塝村委会与赤石村委会合入本村[1]。
旅游[edit]
村内的英西峰林暗河漂流闻名遐迩，曾举办国际漂流大赛和广东省漂流挑战赛[1]。岩口村在老虎谷漂流景区内，景区的九重天观光栈道穿洞而过，全长一千五百多米[2]。
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，溪村上榜2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单[1]。
